This 1970 Scout custom restoration project was completed by Kenny's Rod Shop.  The project is absolutely beautiful and very well done. Great job to Kenny and the team!

The owner plans to drive it year round and not just on sunny days in the summer.   Its a beautiful custom Scout so might as well show it off and drive the hell out of it.  The Scout was brought to TW for a couple of minor things.  He wanted a tuneup and a once over before its let loose on the road.

The Scout was build on a Chevy Blazers' frame using the front and rear axels for starters.  The power plant picked out was a 383 Chevy with MSD fuel injection and a 350 turbo tranny.   Several unique modern features were added but with touches that keep it classic....  Take a look below.

The gas filler is behind the drivers side rear tail light.  The left tail light hides the A/C converter and a plug that connects to a built in battery trickle charger.

The owner decided to have the crew at TW upgrade the engine and swap it with a LS2, but keep the turbo 350 3-speed.
