This car was finally brought to TW after several shops in the valley could successfully tune and setup the turbo. TW have decided to replace the AEM engine management system with a new Haltech system.
This boost gauge looks like it has issues!
The Haltech Elite 2000 ECU has been installed and tuned.
The turbos are getting ready to be installed.
After running the car for a few months the engine started to loose boost. The factory OEM turbo's (Chinese Junk) started to fall part. The crew at TW ordered two new Turbonetics for replacements.
Soon, both turbo's will be installed and ready for the dyno! Notice the flexible exhaust joint!
After the new turbos were installed, the engine just couldn't seem to maintain the boost. High miles and a worn engine was no excuse. The engine was removed and completely rebuild! It should be ready to handle boost now!!
The original engine has been torn down and rebuilt and the new turbos are installed.... just a little more piping work to finish and then its ready for the dyno!
