Concept drawings by Benny Maxwell, C5 suspension, C5 transaxle, custom Throttle Works frame, and lots and lots of LS power.
If you notice on the front, a steel pipe is tack welded to the front suspension and frame to achieve the correct stance. From here, they can design and install the support brackets for the front A arms. The rear A arm supports have also been added.
Designing and cutting sheet metal to build the foot petal assembly. Keep in mind, the firewall has to be build, but you need plenty of room for the gas pedal and have your legs at a comfortable angle.
Shown here is a reenforcement bar from the top of the engine roll cage to the frame. This allows protection from the top and the side and still allows room for the foot controls.
The roll cage has had the final welds, now the body will be filled in with sheet metal to complete the roll cage thru body look.
Gusset brackets are being made and welded into place on the frame for superior strength.
Gussets are added for strength.
The new engine has arrived. LS POWER!
